In the early spring of 2004, at close to 8:00am, Georgia Police were dispatched in reference to the murder of William Kirby Smith Jr. Smith was the owner of Kirby Speed Shop located on 1438 Jacqueline Drive. Smith was reported shot with a small caliber handgun, resulting in fatal injuries. Georgia officials have yet to discover a motive and suspect behind this horrific crime. In the summer of 2003,Albert Woolfolk was discovered murdered in his home at Habersham Avenue in Columbus, Georgia. Investigators say that the time of death occurred around midnight on July 17th. Two pieces of artwork were noticeably missing from Woolfolk's home, suggesting robbery as a possible motive. A private reward is being offered for the apprehension of the perpetrator.
